Geneva Park
On Thursday, June 29, at night, Dad, Dylan, and I went to Geneva Park with the other W.P.G.T.A (Widower Parents of Greater Toronto Area) people. The group goes to Geneva Park every year - always on the week after the last day of school.
Geneva Park has a cafeteria, a beach, lots of rooms to sleep in, a gym, a tennis court, a bicycle trail and a playground. The cafeteria is like buffet and the food is so good. There were so many families, our group used up nine tables, each with about 10 seats. The last breakfast was especially good because there were little potatoes, bacons, mini sausages, chocolate milk, cereal and toast with honey. But my dad slept in – too bad!
I brought my remote control car, hangman book, my three magnetic rings, my book that I’m writing and my ghost stories book (they are true stories).
I found a little dead cat fish near the water, and then I put it in the bon fire where we had our marshmallows! I went to the beach two times. I wish I could spend more time on the beach next year!
Dylan, Dad and I left Geneva Park after lunch on the 2nd of July. This year was the best so far because I’m now old enough to do more stuff. I especially like riding my bike down the steep hill and playing my remote car with Josh.
